Author - Melissa Jurgensen

Melissa C. Jurgensen is the author of several books, including River Towns of Central Kentucky.  Melissa received the commission of Kentucky Colonel in 2006, the hightest honor in the Commenwealth, due to her advocacy for the restoration and preservation of Kentucky's covered bridges.  Melissa also serves on the board of the Harrodsburg Historical Society, and as a Executive Bourbon Steward she has a keen interest in the history and evolution of Kentucky's all important bourbon industry.
